Sub-theme 2: Elderly Empowerment
How the elderly population is empowered in the decision making in the City of Rovaniemi. The Senior Citizens’ Council of Rovaniemi acts as an advocate for the elderly in Rovaniemi and promotes the participation and influence of the elderly in municipal decision-making and promotes co-operation between the authorities, the elderly and pensioners’ and various NGOs.
